A keen fisherman, experienced river runner and an educator, Dan is always ready to share his knowledge of the west coast ecosystems whether marine or old growth forest. When not guiding, Dan is the Executive Director of the Raincoast Education Society in Tofino. Professional Qualifications include: Marine First Aid, Marine Emergency Duties A3, Restricted Radio operator's Certificate, Small Vessel Operator Proficiency and M.Sc. in Forest Ecology from the University of Victoria.
