Tofino Fish Guides is proud to operate the “Rye-not” a well-kept, nicely equipped, Pursuit Vessel built with offshore fishing in mind. Features include covered seating, a flush toilet, marine radar, GPS, sonar, Scotty downriggers, and clean, quiet, twin Yamaha four stroke engines. Our vessel provides charter guests with an optimal combination of comfort, fish-ability, and safety.

Pursuit has been producing quality yachts for decades. This vessel is no exception. An excellent hull design ensures a smooth ride and there is plenty of room to relax while traveling and fishing. The back deck design insures there is plenty of room to play and land fish, even when we are in the mist of double header action!

Power Scotty downriggers are at the core of our salmon fishing operation -  Top quality Shimano and Fenwick rods and  Avet and Islander reels insure that the angler has the upper hand. The vessel is amply stocked with the right premium bait and tackle to get the job done.

Radar - summer fog and poor weather can drastically reduce visibility; radar is essential to safe navigation and recognition of other vessels during times of low visibility.

GPS and Sonar - In the modern world of fishing, finding salmon and halibut and returning to pinpoint locations in offshore waters can be critical to success. Our Lowrance HDS GPS/ sounder delivers. A secondary Raymarine unit provides a backup system.

Comfort - When you need to ‘go’ offshore, it is nice to have a porcelain flush toilet, and a stereo is always nice.
