Location
Tofino Fish Guides operates out of the Trilogy Marina in Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island in southwestern British Columbia, Canada. From the Tofino harbour we are a 10- 45 minute boat ride from a wealth of productive fishing grounds.
Whether it be offshore on the rich feeding grounds of the continental shelf or amongst the many stunning islands of Clayoquot Sound, there are always fish to be found. Offshore, the Portland tack is one of the most consistent locations on the coast. Here ocean currents concentrate bait fish along a lengthy drop off, enticing migrating salmon to stop and feed. Only a 30 minute run from town, travel time is minimal allowing us to optimize our fishing effort. Depending on the year, season and the weather we have a fantastic range of similar options at our disposal. In addition to great fishing, wildlife sightings are common and range from Humpback Whales to Orcas, Sea Otters, Wolves and Bears.
